Foot Pain After Running

Foot pain after running for runners is usually what an athlete would complain after a long run. Not only for athletes but also for those who occasionally jogs or walks as form of their exercise every morning. It is a fact that every time we step our foot to the ground or when we simply jog, the impact is greater because of the gravity and in addition to our weight. No wonder after having a run of a mile or two, our feet tends to shout in pain. And due to over workout we tend to suffer in feet injuries such as plantar fasciitis and fractures and other more.

Foot pain after running may be a cause of an injury, a blister, bunions, corn or fractures. If you are having several painful hard lumps in your feet, then you have corns. This is due to the continuous rubbing of the feet from the over tight shoes. Putting pads on the affected area will put a lesser pressure on the corn and it will eventually disappear and most certainly you have to find shoes that fit you better.

Wearing appropriate shoes has a great impact in giving your feet a comfortable environment and in reducing the foot pain after running. When your shoes don’t fit properly, blisters will most likely to occur. If your blister is giving you a hard time, better slit it open and remove the fluid out. Make it sure that your hands and blade are clean so as to avoid an infection. Bunion is a sore lump that s connected to the big toe. Bunion will become a problem as it becomes larger and tends to be painful because of wearing shoes that are too tight. Bunions pads may be put to them so as to reduce the pressure on it so as to reduce the swelling.

Foot pain after running will lessen if we will have knowledge on how to make our feet comfortable even undergoing vigorous activities. So as with having appropriate shoes, we should also have a time to take a break so as to make our feet have time to relax and rest. Too much work out can only result to pain.
